Cost of Seat Calculator

Cost of Seat is a financial calculation of the direct and indirect costs associated with or attributable to each selling position in your business; it allocates all costs of the business to the various selling positions.

The underlying concept is dividing total cost of the business by the number of selling positions in the business, calculated on a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) basis.

FTE varies from country to country and sometimes agency to agency, but is based on the standard award hours worked per week. In Australia, most agencies work a 37.5 hour week.
